Positive Reflection

I was in my final year and someone asked me to enroll in Amal academy where you learn soft skills such as communication, networking , self confidence etc.

As I began my journey of learning a new skill with Amal academy which was how to prepare for your upcoming professional life, the course is very beneficial for me as an introverted personality, I was lucky enough to pass interviews, orientation and all the steps and get admission on this course. On many occasions throughout these days I was assisted by teachers for my difficulties. The sessions are very comfortable and relaxing because they help me very well for my upcoming career. Working with a fellow is basically a practice of how you face colleagues in your real life. One challenge was assisting a boy in my group because I never had direct contact with a stranger boy I did try to do but it was fine. I somehow managed to make group members very cooperative.

The day and event that impacted me was the fundraising for EDHI foundation. Fundraising for EDHI foundation was the best part in this course because I never did that type of activity in my life so it was amazing and such heart warming that gives me peace because I help needy people. I move outside ask people for donation that was the thing I never did before. Collecting fund for me is a challenging task but it was a great experience for me. I collect funds individually. The challenge I face is to convince people to donate and make them aware of the needs of the people. The second challenge for me was how to ask people for donations as I have not done before. To overcome those challenges I first update my WhatsApp status in which I wrote the details from there I get the Donations almost 3000 that’s boost my spirit high and further I ask my relatives and friends if there is anyone who want to serve for this cause and pay even little amount and fortunately I get a positive response and I collect 3000 from there. This experience helped me accept failure as in the beginning I didn’t collect much money but I didn’t lose my spirit and continuously think and finally achieved it as if there is will there is a way.

I suggest everyone to take part in this course and be a part of Amal academy because it helps you start your career perfectly.
